I recently bought a alco for my layout, mainly as eye candy.  It runs and is in great shape but I cant find what model it is, its nothing fancy just a unit I wanted to use for looks outside my diesel shop.  Its made by tyco, its super heavy, and has driveshafts to each of the trucks. the odd part is that its rd number 3710 and unless they renumbered their alcos this doesnt match.  I think it may be a c630, but when it comes to alcos I am no authority at all, my faves are usually switchers.  thanks for your help.

That is an Alco C630, which is correct with high hood for the N&W.  However, the N&W road numbers were 1130-1139.

yeah looks like I may renumber this little jewel, I try to keep some predecessor engines around on my layout for kind of a transition period look, I didnt really have any nw units so since I got this thing for a song I thought it would work perfectly.  Thanks for your help
