A tribute to the WC and MRL rent-a-wrecks.

Over the past few years, NS has leased a ton of power from different places. Some of my favorites where the WC and MRL power that seemed to be on just about every train you saw. With all the new power that has come online, almost all the leasers are gone, leaving the run of the mill BNSF and UP power as the most common thing you will see out there.

The WC SD45's have all been sent back, and since retired by the CNIC, and the MRL power is back on home rails. Here are a few favorites...doubt we will ever see this stuff again.. Feel free to share yours.
