Thanks to one mans dream, I had a free day off from school. Which allowed me to be out this morning to catch the Lehigh Valley on NS 22A. After having to spend a half hour in a dentist office, I left all numbed up and started south in search for it. Thanks to Hunter33 and his updates, I was able to get to Bowen in time to pull over on the side of the road and get NS 22A racing by. The rest of the chase ended up going west and onto the Louisville District. Even though the sun wasn't very cooperative today, the chase was still a success.

Below are some of the pics from the chase... If you want to see more from today or any in the past, go to my flickr page... >>> http://www.flickr.com/photos/46459752@N08/

Great broadsides there, and you did what you could with the rest. Still good work!

The combination of the red LV and black NS units hauling intermodal feels like the old Apollo pigshots of my childhood came back to life. Nice shots!
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.

Great set of shots! If you cover the NS logos with PC logos, you'll have an idea of what my earliest memories of trains look like hanging out with my dad around Allentown yard and the Reading Line in the late 70's.
Great stuff!
