Thanks to Mr. Bell for the updates, I got off work in time to catch Conrail 8098 leading an eastbound coal train. I caught up to it while it was sitting in the hole at Talmage, and chased it the rest of the way down the Louisville District till Danville Yard.

NS 796 led by Conrail 8098 sits in the hole at Talmage

After sitting at Talmage for an hour and a half, NS 796 is back underway passing through Convoy

NS 796 nears the end of the Louisville District as it passes through South Wye

Finally, NS 796 sits in the yard after a long trip from Louisville

Here are two videos of the Conrail

Its Blue, so the dirt is most appropriate. I cant recall ever seeing a clean Conrail unit...inside OR out.

LOL! Sort of like when the N&W unit came out and people were saying it was "too blue"... when in reality they were comparing it to dirty N&W units.  :) Dan
