Last Sunday morning 09/16/12, while waiting on NS 111 with the Wabash unit near Fisherville Ky , NS kept us entertained with a couple of Eastbound intermodals. With nothing but GE's to shoot on those, I thought I would play a bit and try a little lower angle on the bridge, and used the "Live View" feature on my camera to get right down in the grass. I dont recall using that feature that much to tell the truth (Camera stays on manual everything all the time), but I liked the result in any case.

Bigger version of these can be found at this link http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/louisvilledistrict2012_eb

NS 285 crosses the Pope Lick bridge near Fisherville KY, on the NS Louisville District

NS 275 follows 285 East, seen here in a more conventional view.

Moody Morning Coal. NS 76J passes the local power at Lawrenceburg KY early in the morning before the sun had shown itself. This was one of those "I am here, might as well push the button" kind of shots, that came out better than I had figured it would..heck, I even kinda like it.
