NS 3459 nose headlight

When I was in Sailsbury for the 630 trip the lead unit of 135 had  NS 3459 with the  relocated head light in the nose has any one else seen this before.

I think this is the only one like that. It was working Gainesville for a while. Good catch!

Yes this is the only one with the low headlight in service on NS. It is ex-CEFX 3180/7120, nee-BN 7120. I think some of the other CEFX units NS bought that were originally BN 7100 series units had low headlights but they were moved when they were repainted by NS.

Nice! I wanted to model a SD40-2 and that would be one of a kind... like the old CR "NorSou" unit 3352.
