Good stuff TJ, and I second Steve on that...hope we can do it again soon! After 4 days with the 630 in Chatt, I have yet to bring myself to shoot the first diesel here at home (although I am sure I will get over it at some point) ....

Wick Moorman says they plan 1800 miles of excursions next year......
He says they will operate out of EVERY major terminal on the NS system...
So we should all see a lot of action.....

If the excursions are in FL, GA, AL, TN, KY, SC, or NC... I'll be there!!!

I think the company was just as enjoyable as the trains themselves!

Oh... I'd love to see some NS steam on the former Erie or the ex-NKP in upstate NY!  ;D
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.

You are right about that..the company and fellowship made the trip an outstanding one, but I think the subject we were there to see had a little to do with it. I cant see us all burning up the roads and standing in the rain to shoot a Catfish :)

On second thought, that might be fun to...it would be nice to have someone else to join me in the GE bitching!

Its always better to experience events with friends than to do it alone...........
