Good shooting Mike..thanks for posting that for us!  Did they have any issues with the bearings this time around?

yep ,  same as before.  a few miles up the line after this shot , they stopped due to high temps.   from MP 209 to cleveland it was slow running.     We didnt stick around for the trip back , but they topped off the tender with h2o just in case it was a slow trip back.

The first test run, they where having issues with the mains on #1 and #4 on the engine, which is really not surprising with the amount of running gear work that had to be done. Its just a matter of time of fine tuning everything, and is exactly the reason they are making these test runs.

630;s regular trips on the TVRM are maybe 4 miles long, at 15 or 20mph..not near long enough or fast enough to see this kind of trouble (for the most part). Given the talent that TVRM has in the shop,  I'm sure they will get it figured out and running like a new one before long!
