Sorry if this is someone on here. But you stepped in front of my photo line.

To the crew in 22A who waited 4 hours in the siding.. if I had some money I'd have brought you guys some shakes or something cold to drink.. but I'm two dollars to my name broke and no work lined up till September.

I'll post a few more photos from today in an hour or so. I mostly experimented with 720p video and I got the shady side every single time. That high sun killed me today.

This is from 06-21-2011. I went to see if I could catch a train on the longest day of the year before that storm blew in and I noticed the track was on fire. I called the fire department since I don't have Norfolk Southern's number on my speed dial. Whatever was burning took a few minutes to extinguish. No one ever explained to me what to do and I have never seen a thread about this.. but there was visible white smoke coming up from between the rails and I figured it's better to be safe then sorry. I don't want someone burning up because I am too lazy to dial three numbers. Of course about 20 minutes after they left we got hit with a monsoon.

This was creeping by 22A headed East.

A stack train then came though going east.

Then an autorack came through.

23G follow about an hour later. I missed it when changing locations by just a few minutes.

I wasn't at a crossing and I was not about to cross the street there to find a number and get nailed for trespassing or accused of starting the fire. But I did copy those numbers down and will use them in the future if needed, thanks.

And finally hours later 22A passes by the Buechel Depot about a mile from where they drop off the stacks for Louisville.

That's all I saw today. I headed down to the Ohio river to see the steamboats get ready to race.
