Saturday, March 12th, we headed South to enjoy the first warm, Sunny weekend we have had a long while. It had only been a couple of months since we where in the same places, fighting the snow, cold and slick roads, and the 70 degree temps and sun was a welcome change.

Most of the day was spent shooting a rare daylight appearance of a Southbound coal train, but there where plenty of other trains to keep us busy as well.

I added 17 new images from the trip  to my 2011 NS gallery on Pbase. This link will take you there to see the full set.
