Last Saturday, EB and myself went out for a few hours to shoot on the Louisville District in the snow and fog. Everything we saw had GE's leading, but atleast the weather made it worth shooting.

The entire set can be had at this link  http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/railroad_2010

376 at Vanarsdale KY, that Oakway SD60 was the most color we would see all day.

22A at the West end of Talmage, getting on the move again after a meet with 376

285 at West Waddy, Ky heading in to meet the 22A.

A Westbound steel train at East Waddy..and yes, it was as cold as it looks.

Nice work Carmon.  I particularly like the first and last shots.  Well done all around.

Thanks.  This is my second time shooting in the snow.  I like that no one else is out there.

I too prefer a little solace more often then not when I'm photographing trains.

Same here. Most of my chases were alone this year, so I could relax and really enjoy them.

Nice shots, BTW.
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.
