NS Train 162 thru Newport, TN

Eastbound NS Train 162 blasted through Newport, TN last evening @ 8:30 pm, with NS2697 (SD70M-2) leading two trailing units.  The train had a weight car on the tail end.

This is the first time I have seen or heard of 162 through Newport.  Is this a re-route or a new/replacement train?  My records show 162 to be a Memphis TN (UP) to Knoxville TN.

I believe that 162 has been combined with 166 from Chattanooga TN to Linwood NC. I have not heard 166 in a while.

165 166 134 135 GRAIN COAL ETC STILL OPERATES AS USUAL. 162 IS ON A REG. SCHEDULE DAILY WITH A LATE EVENING DEPART FROM KNOX.

162 started back in June I believe. It is currently running without a counterpart to the best of my knowledge.
