A Sperry surprize at Danville

Last Saturday morning, while Carm and myself waited for the OCS to arrive in Danville (Ky) I spotted something I hadnt seen in a few years.  Sperry Car 145, in what looked to be fresh new paint, tied up for the weekend in the pocket track. 

I havnt seen a Sperry car in several years, and honestly had figured these had all been retired, in favor of the hyrail trucks they seem to use everywhere now.  It was good to see the old gal still out running.
