I recently got an undecorated berkshire/kanawha type engine yesterday.  I've been wanting one forever now, and thought I'd make it a C&O 2716 like the one in new haven. (which actually spent some time painted up as a southern engine) But it seems now that I have it I cant decide which way to stencil it.  I have tons of southern stuff and a few conrails  and a few odd ducks,(this is the only steam engine I have) but I dont really think I want this in southern this time. I was thinking maybe a cool predecessor lines name or a name derived from two of those names together.  I'm not a stickler for history so whether they had one or not is completely irrelevant. Theres gotta be some cool names of some old bought up southern lines I can use. Any ideas or thoughts would be of great help.  Chattanooga Traction Company comes to my mind with G&F and Central of Georgia, what do you guys think sounds neat?????? :-*  the more obscure the better.

How about Chesepeake Southern ? Or the CNO&TP

If you can't decide how about paint one side for Chesapeake and Ohio and the other side for Southern.

I still havent stuck with a name yet, I did consider your cnotp concept, or maybe just texas pacific, but I also heard of an old line called the brimstone and new river so I really just get more and more up in the air.  If I stick with one I guess I may have to initial the 0-6-0 since its so small I dont think anything very long will fit.  decisions decisions ;D
