Billy Worsham and I were down south of Newport on Saturday to try to catch some trains at the bridges over the river there.  Got one eastbound on the River Line very quickly but after getting a look at the Asheville yard, there was just nothing moving west.  So we ran up I-26 to the Johnson City area and poked around the CSX yard in Erwin and the NS yards at Frisco and Yuma.  That area certainly has potential.  We made a quick run up to Natural Tunnel as well but didn't catch a train there.  Still a few worthwhile pictures on a gorgeous day.

Love the shots of the 3232, very nice, but the 1500 at the chemical plant is my favorite, always had a soft spot for the switchers.  Nice work.

Nice work! I really like that shot at Watkins of the pushers cutting off. Only being about 30 miles from that area around Frisco, I need to get off the Bristol line and go up that way more often.
