F.R. A. T16 test car in Louisville

On the way back from our Indiana trip Saturday 02/16/08, we caught this "thing" sitting in the NS yard in Louisville. FRA test car T16, looks like a former metroliner cab car. Not sure why it was there, or what exactly it does.

For whats its worth, the T16 departed Louisville today (02/19/08) to Danville and on South as a special move. Not sure where it is headed.

I got stuck behind that "thing" yesterday leaving out on 111.   It ran as an Oh-45 south out of Danville and parked it self for the night at Burnside.
