Coming to you LIVE via the Verizon Wireless Broadband Card.

Down in Roanoke presently, just checking the place out, doing a little research for a magazine article I'm writing.  So it helps to have made a few trips to the subject area first.  :)

Anyways, just a couple of quick photos from today's exploits, nothing special.  With some luck, maybe more tomorrow.

It's definately a nice town to visit with lots of great scenery and things to do.  And there is definately a lot of photo ops.

Day two was a bit more productive, on Saturday it was like the blind leading the blind, but that's to be expected when exploring a new territory.   Fortunately a quick e-mail exchange with Henry Dralle gave us some useful info regarding the lines between Roanoke and Bluefield, WV.   The result was we were able to get a few more trains prior to departing to Northern VA.

That said, here's a few more offerings from Sunday, I apologize as I don't know the symbols of any of these trains.   But then again, it's about the photos, the symbols, at least as far as I'm concerned aren't really important.
