I had planned on getting up early Friday and catching the flow of Eastbound trains out of Louisville with good morning sunlight. Ended up spending ALL night awake with a sick dog. Debated on just staying up and heading out. Of course sleep won. Went to sleep about 7am. Around 1pm I was awakened by the dog again. Luckily I turned my scanner on just in time to hear a fleet of Westbound trains were lined from Shelbyville to Louisville. I grabbed my camera and headed out the door.

First up was 375 with a catfish leading.

Next up was either 112 or 168 with the NS 3542 trailing. They were calling so many train symbols I don't know which this was but assume it was 168.

Next up was 239 with a UP leading.

Next was one of those "J" coal trains. I think a 75J.

After the "J" train cleared Dumesnil West of here a few miles something came East and there was still a train West in the Tucker siding that I assume was a 112.

I had to head to the Vet to get some medicine for the dog so I missed those two trains.

On the way back I stopped in Buechel and caught a 22A as it was coming to to the intermodal yard to make a dropoff / pickup.

Not bad being able to drive half a mile and seeing 4 trains in a little over an hour.
