This weekend, Tyler and I made the trip to Chattanooga in anticipation of 630 running trips to Attalla on Saturday and to Oneida on Sunday. However, it wasn't finished with its winter repairs, but we were treated to the Southern heritage unit instead. Saturday, we chased NS 957 from Chattanooga to Attalla and back. The rain came and went on this day, but when it came, it was a total downpour. On Sunday, the sun was out and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. A complete opposite of what we saw the day before, but Sunday was just a bonus for us!

Below are a few pictures from the weekend.. The rest can be seen on my Flickr > https://www.flickr.com/photos/46459752@N08/

I probably told you already but great photos from both days. Looks like it was a worthwhile trip for y'all.

Nice shooting man. I actually can be seen sitting on that fence in your Spring City shot, which yielded the attached photo. It was a good day! We just chased Evensville-Oakdale and then stuck back for some shooting at a spot at Waters that I had discovered.. Got it again leading south after lunch.

I agree...very nice shots. I kind of doubt I would have gone into all out chase mode over the 8099, but it looks very nice. I'd much rather see something with smoke and steam on the point. :)
