I built this gal back in 97 my first ever kitbash ! I figured it was time to do her up right since I had the atlas shell due to the 39-8 project . But shes gonna be renumbered to 8856 for homage to Joe Kidd and his RF&P passenger Car 856 ! Joe was a good freind and im glad I got to spend time with him ! So any who here's the progress so far

Nice Job BH! Did the dash 9 start off as a standard cab? And if so, are you changing the cab to a more detailed one? Just curious. Thanks! DE Dan

It was a standard cab from 96-97, back then I used a railpower B40-8 shell n nose battery boxes were hacked! Now im   replacing the nose cab and array of battery doors with the atlas D8-40C I bought cause I thought I needed the frame for the C39-8 but had a railpower frame stowed away that worked ! The frame from the atlas I just bought  is for another project im working on as well

Now i have 3 GEs that are in process C39-8 D8-40CW & D9-40C

Sweet! Now, if only I can figure out what to do after I finish the GP59. I am leaning toward a standard cab C40-8 or standard cab C40-9. Right now the Dash 8 is winning. Also, NS paint or patched Conrail?
