This past week has been rather cold and snowy to say the least. I was able to get out all last week and have some pretty neat catches. The last 3 days were the very same. Saturday was full of EMDs and a heritage, Sunday yielded a trio of Canadians and Monday contributed with a High Wide. In this update, all the catches from those days will be in this post, so sit back and enjoy.

As always, here is my Flickr if you want to check out my pictures! >> http://www.flickr.com/photos/46459752@N08/

Neat pics, trainchaser2!

But I'm curious about photo #7.

The caption for NS 053 says ". . . . a set of Siemens Turbines bound for Temple, Texas".

The special appears northbound by the station at Danville; so does it have to run north then west to Louisville or up to Cincy to then head south?  Just curious!

TIA

Excellent shots! Nice catch on the high & wide move- my inner Erie fan always loves those specials.
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.
