I am currently on the road making my way from Michigan to Atlanta, GA. On the way down today, I stopped at Marion, OH. Within 1000ft two CSX mains cross two NS mains and two other CSX mains. Kinda like Fostoria, OH. Only was able to stay an hour... but, still had a good time. DE Dan

Here is a SD60 on a local returning back to the yard.

Next up was an empty grain train.

Just thought the covered hoppers looked neat!

The crew of the local with the SD60 dropped their cars at the yard and picked up their next cut. However, they were held until a mixed manifest was able to get around them. The next pick shows the manifest banging the diamonds.

Surprise, surprise!!! A high hood GP38-2 was trailing in the manifest!

After the manifest cleared... the local was allowed to head out with the SD60 leading long hood forward... the way God intended it to!

And before I left... I had to take a pic of the Erie caboose they have on display next to old AC Tower.
FYI- all the pics were taken from the steps and platform on AC Tower. DE Dan

I'd really like to spend a long sunny summer day there and catch about 50 or more trains.

I was there for about two and a half hours one January day and I think there were 12-15 trains. Spent time eating at the Shovel and missed a few go by.
