Been up since 5am(EST) tracking a 64R that had the RDG unit leading with the VGN unit trailing. He got held up at Perryville, MD this morning waiting for MARC and SEPTA traffic to clear Amtrak's NEC. 64R finally showed up at the Delmarva Secondary a couple of mins before 11am(EST). I decided to give chase the 5 miles down the Delmarva Sec and the 4 miles down the Reybold Runner to Delaware City Refinery. Here are my 7 favorite pics... out of 70! 1 out of 10 ain't bad!!! Enjoy! DE Dan

1)Here we see the RDG and VGN leaving Amtrak's NEC and heading onto NS's Delmarva Sec at DAVIS.
2)Here they are just crossing Old Baltimore Pike around MP 3 on the Delmarva Sec.

Add on- this checks the VGN Unit off the list!!!

After crossing Old Baltimore Pike... the double header passes by me through historic Cooch's Bridge Battlefield(only battle fought in DE during the Revolutionary War of 1776).

I chased 64R down the Reybold Runner. Here it crossed DE RT 7 and enters the refinery loops.

Taken on a different day... but, here is Delaware's State Flag and the original Stars and Stripes at the Battlefield Site. DE Dan

1 out of 10 is pretty good in my opinion! I really like the first Rt7 shot and the way the crossing signals frame the engine, very cool!
Also glad you caught the 1069!
All in all it looks like a great day!

I like that shot also PADan.  I haven't seen many like that.  DEDan , thanks for telling me about these shots being posted.  The color combination is nice although the green battlefield grass changed the hue of the paint schemes a bit. ;D      ;D

Thanks guys! Actually pics #4 and #6 were taken by my back up camera. I had it on a tri-pod with the timer set and the burst shooting function on... while, I had my normal camera shooting by hand. DE Dan.
