One Year Ago Today . . . .

Wow, it was warm one; July 3, 2012!

It was hot everywhere last summer, especially Spencer, North Carolina.

But attached are my first two pics of that morning, one of waiting in line with my son to get our N.S. lanyards (7:29 AM), and the second photograph (from 7:47 AM) of my first view of some beautiful locomotives.

Anyone else want to post their "first views" of that day?

I didn't even catch that. It seems longer than a year we were there looking at those beautiful engines .I just noticed in the first pic I see myself ,wife ,and then eight year old. That was a wonderful day.And lets not forget about the model train store across the street.
