Athearn SD70M-2 question

I had a discussion with Badhore79 about the anticlimber drooping down on my M-2 and it's kind bugging me. I had the thought of using weak glue to bind it to the can where there's a gap. With the exception of Badhorse since he's helped a lot (thanks man, lots) could you guys tell me if I'm doing wrong or right or ehat should I do?
