Just got me a copy of the above book today and it is pretty good. It has alot of useful tips plus ideas for me anyway. Pelle Soeborg has a nice hand at modeling trains. Of course there are some layouts on here I have looked at that compare to what is published in his book. Badhorse and NSMOW if you want to scroll back in some last post and see them for yourself. But while doing my second layout it doen't matter how it looks as long as you can run a train on it without derailing and having to call and explain why there is coal and pieces of train all over the floor to the wife.  I got this book at Hobbytown for 21 bucks but you can get it on Ebay now with shipping for about 19 if you can't find it at your local store.

That dude is a phenomenal modeler ... I got his done in a day and my cars are alot better using his techniques ...let me borrow that when your done lol

Yeah. For someone who lives in Europe... he does a bang up job modeling the southwest US!
