We made it back home in one piece after 2 days of following the OCS to Chattanooga and back. As fast as they move, we had to plan out our shots and go for quality over quantity. 550 miles of driving netted a grand total of 10 catches.

I was looking through my shots after getting in this evening, and really liked this one. I will share more later on, but here is OCS 952 as seen late this morning at South Roddy, TN.

On Thursday morning, OCS passed MP 88 at 0825 and MP 50 about 0905, crossed Ohio River ablout 1010.

They ran track speed (60 mph max) every chance they got, but that usual for that train. Its a chore to try to keep up with them on the CNO&TP, where there are very few speed restrictions...we drove 250 + miles each day and only got them 5 times each way. You have to know the area and plan your shots to do any good (and then a well placed log truck or blue hair can still foul it up)...
