This past weekend we where treated to some perfect fall weather here in Central KY. Just cool enough to be sweat shirt comfortable, nothing but sun and even a little color in the trees  It was much to pretty to just sit around the house, and we took the opportunity to get out and about for awhile. I didn't feel like getting to far away from the house, but with Two busy NS lines within easy reach of the home, we didn't have to.

Saturday, I had to go into the office for a couple of hours in the morning. The wife went with me, and after I escaped from there, we headed over to Waddy for a little Louisville district action. I had no idea what was running, but soon we would be in the middle of a VERY busy afternoon, with a total of 10 trains in less than 4 hours.

Sunday afternoon, I was hanging around the house when I heard the dispatcher talking to the 60A and 111, both headed East towards Danville, and both with EMD leaders. I headed out solo, and bagged a couple of good shots of both trains, and never got more than 5 miles from home.

Check out this link for all the pics, 17 new one in all. It wasn't to bad for a lazy weekend around home!

Cool pics!

The logo on the MOW crane (in your PBase.com collection) is sure interesting.

Someone in the NS logo department had fun with all those colors, symbols, etc.
