They stopped 61A at the old Jeffersontown Industrial Park lead and delivered and installed a new ditch light. As seen in photo #2 taken just before the bridge crossing Hurstbourne Lane ( just west of mp 286).

This is the coal train, that ran around 61A, headed to Danville. I wondered why he was going really slow through Jeffersontown and why I was able to get in front of him. If 61A had not been partially disabled I would have missed both trains.

NS 9799 is being used as local power for 23G and 22A. This was taken as the squall line was moving into the Louisville area. I made it off the overpass and into my car just as the down pour started. On the way home I had a transformer blow and rain down orange fire and sparks on top of my car and also a power line was knocked down blocking the road along with numerous branches and tree tops scattered along the streets the whole way.

This is from the Newburg Road overpass about MP 282. West of GE Appliance Park Yard (Buechel Depot) and East of Whitner.

NS 2635 @ MP 283

This engine has been parked here for quite a few days now. I'm not sure if it is DOA of just hanging out. NS 9799 is being used for the intermodals.
