3 days before EB and myself tied the knot on July 2nd, we went out for an afternoon of shooting on the NS Louisville District. We had not had the chance to get over to Shelbyville Kentucky to check out the "new" bridge since it had been completed, so we headed that way. NS was fairly busy, and we shot several train at the bridge, and around Waddy.

I am just now getting around to processing these, as things have been hectic and busy all month. The whole set can be found at my personal gallery on Pbase.  http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/ns2011carm

A pair of EMD's lead NS 168 at Shelbyville KY

NS 61A again, near the West end of Waddy Siding.

NS 22A at Waddy KY. The heat distortion off the rails really messed with this shot, so I went with a "soft" look to it by tinkering around  in Photoshop. Different, but I like it.

Nice shots and congrats on your marriage. I think that you and Emmett give a whole new meaning to the term "couple" and I mean that in a good way.  :)
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.
