Its not very often that I will go out for a afternoon and shoot a few trains, and promptly forget about the pictures, but I guess I did just that...BUT....given the subject matter, and my dislike of most anything produced in Erie PA, I pretty much forgot about these..

Sunday, April 3rd, we took the new ride out for its maiden voyage on the Louisville District. We didn't go all that far, or shoot all that much, and everything we saw had a dang GE leading. At-least we got to enjoy the pretty weather and even got to hang out with Mr. Herndon at the wye for a bit. Here are a few of the forgotten pics, and I am sure you will quickly forget you even saw them....and I don't blame you a bit!

if the little version here dont send you running and you need a bigger dose, try here.  (6 newest on the top)

NS 223 at Nevins Station, right down the road from JREB world HQ

Right behind the 223 was a 285, with a White Faced Gevo leading.  For some unknown reason, we followed this guy East and got him at a few places. This first spot is a place I hadnt shot at for a long while, the West end of the Coal Chute siding, near Alton KY.

285 again, passing the ratty looking GE that was being used on the T19 local, at Lawrenceburg, KY.

Vanarsdale, Kentucky

After hanging out and shooting the bull with Caleb for awhile at the wye, we eased on over to the scenic wonderland of Burgin KY, and got a 143 before we headed home....check out that sexy number board on the leader...GE quality!
