Carmon and myself spent the whole day Saturday shooting and riding on the Knoxville & Holston River RR. We where busy shooting a few detail shots of the W&L 203 when I spied a covered hopper moving across the bridge behind the steam engine.

A mad dash (and if you have EVER seen me run...its a mad funny dash) across the parking lot and over to the river walk netted this view of a SD40-2 and a GP50, leading the Southbound K&A local across the Tn river. A pair of Southern High Hood veterans crossing the river, framed by the Henley street bridge..I cant think of a more classic Knoxville location!

The Bigger, badder, high res version is at the link, if you really need to see it..  http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/image/129337066

High hoods and three bridges in one shot.   That's beautiful.
