Nobody usually listens to me, I tell everyone to cover the paint & decals with glosscoat, and weather them.

But the dad-gum over-enthusiasts go ahead and dulcoat the work, and some dum body publishes it on the cover of a scale model mag, and you can so see the orange peal surface!

I have done my share of Southern Railway SD4-2, SD45, SD60, GP38-2 & NS B30-7 engines.

It's like, do whatever suits you, just do it and post your work on this blessed Forum!
