This morning I decided to head down to a location just east of Bethlehem to photograph some trains from a different spot. For once the weather was sunny on a weekend and I thought I'd be able to catch a local and maybe another train. After I got trackside, I had to wait a while before seeing any trains. I had heard that H76 was heading out of the yard but I had no idea where they were. While I was bored and trying to pass the time, I found a hawk flying overhead and I couldn't resist getting a photo of it (attached at the bottom of the post). Obviously it isn't the best shot, I need some bigger glass before I get into bird photography.  ;)

A little while later, I heard that 18G was ready to get out of Allentown. Oncoming cloud cover confirmed that a train was near the area, and I moved to get some elevation and hide some of the inevitably blown out sky. The photo still came out bad, but here it is for what it's worth (it cleared up again a few seconds after the power passed).

A few minutes later I heard that H76 was finished with its work at Bethlehem and was ready to head east. I set up for a different angle away from shadows and waited. I was surprised to find that the H76 only had one car today, a depressed center flat with a transformer on it.
