New book chronicles railroad history in West Virginia

HUNTINGTON -- Tri-State authors Jack and Kay Dickinson's latest book is right on track.

The railroad history book titled "Trail of the Powhatan Arrow, the N&W's Big Sandy Line," chronicles the history of the railroad and the towns and villages between Kenova and Williamson.

"I think there is a great story to tell about the early history of the N&W railroad through West Virginia," said Dickinson, who has teamed with his wife on a previous book about Wayne County. "No sooner had we finished the first book than we decided to explore this other aspect of the history of the area.
