Well, I don't have any photos or trip details yet, but hopefully there will be at least a few pics to share periodically from time-to-time now. Here's why: since January 2007, I've been scannerless. My house was scheduled to be remodeled; it has since been rebuilt from the groud up, and is now a ten bedroom house that's already leased- even before completion- to Phi Gamma Delta (a.k.a. FIJI) Fraternity.  I now live one street up from there- so I'm still close to the rail action of both CSX and NS.  Anyway, I just figured out a way to attach my antenna without even so much as drilling a whole in the wall. So now, once again, I am able to know in advance of train movements.

I just thought I would share this. Although I don't have the time I once did before I became a college student, I hope that this "put's me back-in-the-game."

I guess the figuring out how to attach the antenna thing goes along the lines of how prisoners come up with ways to make hooch in prison. If  you deprive a man long enough he'll find a way! I think we've all been out of the loop lately.

seems like things always slow down in the summer. Work has been kicking my butt, havnt been out in over a month now..glad someone is getting some pics...  :)

Yeah whoever wrote that song Summertime is full of some major crap. Summer time and the living aint easy more like it......Summer just gets to be busy. If we can extend day light savings time why not Spring and fall?

All are good but I am partial to CSX 2269 at Knoxville Yard. The GP30's have always been a favorite of mine.
