Somewhere within these humble pages a few days ago, I said I hadnt took a train pic in over a month, well, that was an outright lie. I forgot about a couple of shots i had sitting on the camera...

Two weeks ago on a sunday evening I shot theses...dont remember the exact date and to lazy to go back right now and look at the exif data..

After CSX had two derailments in a week on the LCL sub, we got some detour trains here on the Louisville District. This is a NS 073 ( I think that was it) pulling out of the siding at East Talmage.  Im sure that everyone knows that CSX stands for 'Chemical Spill Experts" I guess they are no longer experts, as this is just a CS engine.. Juinor said it would have been more appropriate to have shot this one on the CNO&TP...you know, the CS....

And a Westbound 61A steel train the same evening, also at East Talmage. I think Black and White GE's look better. Black hides the fire damage better...

5224 clobbered a truck in South Carolina about 6 weeks ago, hence the reason for the "after-market" door.

I guess 'X' DOES mark the spot, if you what I mean.  ;)
