The Sunday Deuce...

Seems like every time I plan a day or two of doing nothing, or working around the house, I always get interrupted.  Sunday afternoon while out running a few errands, I happened to hear NS 161 coming East with the NS 2654 leading. Seeing as how the new SD70m-2's are about my favorite thing out there right now, and I had the camera with me, it just had to be done.

And once again at Vanarsdale KY...

Monday Deuce's.............

On the way home after a long hard day at work, I get a call that train 112 is out of Danville with NS 2704 leading. I was almost home, and planned on mowing the yard, so didn't give it much more thought.  Shortly after, I hear train 25N get a TW at Talamge, with a NS 2701 leading. Two westbounds in great light with EMD's leading, the grass will still be there tomorrow. I turned around in the driveway and headed towards Waddy.  I wouldnt step outside my front door to watch a new GE go by (and thats about all I have to do to see a train), but a little evening roadtrip seemed like a good idea for these.

About 30 mins later, train 112 came dragging up the hill at the East End of Waddy, NS 2704 leading. That big headed shadow in the engineers seat is our own Mr Russell, getting some OJT at the throttle of a fine EMD product.

And one last shot of 112 a few mile down the road at Shelbyville KY

Time to get some more Coors for 111's trip.  ;D
Can you say BUUUURP!!!

Nice shots at least you got something worth while out of having to run errands other than an end to the eternal nagging. If a man has to go to the store for himself it's a trip to the store. If a woman needs something it's an errand and it takes all day.
