Sloooow Monday--4/30/07

Okay thinking that it was going to be busy as usual, I missed out on all of the morning traffic and got nothing but one NS train  . Talk about a sloooooow day on NS. A signal gang had a curfew on the main between Akers and Rosemont, limiting traffic as they work to bring a new "Saltine Box" signal online at MP 74.8/74.9 on single track.

Here is what I got anyhow:

1]Ok, not a NS train but hey it is a train--RJ Corman #9003(GP9 ex B&O, C&O)/1826(GP16, ex CSX)/5372(SD40T-2, ex D&RGW) bringing a manifest out of Lexington at Russell Cave Rd. As you can see the back two units are belching smoke as the train works the hill.

2]NS 216 with a pair of Catfishes at one of my favorite spots, Donerail--9473/9494. This was the same pair that was on NS 215 Saturday.

3]GP50 7069 sitting idle in Lexington Yard.
