Got a late start this morning and missed about 4 trains before I could get down to Austell Junction and Mableton

NS 220 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) south bound on the Georgia Div. double tracks, #2 main line at Mableton Road crossing


NS 22N (MEMPHIS, TN - ATLANTA, GA) south bound on the Georgia Div. double tracks, #2 main line at Mableton Road crossing


NS 215 (CHICAGO, IL (LANDERS) - ATLANTA, GA) working # 4 IMF track at Whitaker Yard


NS 215  (CHICAGO, IL (LANDERS) - ATLANTA, GA) south bound on the "run-around" track at CP Austell


NS 169  (CONWAY PA. - BIRMINGHAM AL) holding the Winston siding / AMTK 19 (New York – New Orleans) west bound. 169 is turning out to be a morning train west bound out of Atlanta


Whitaker IM Yard Expansion Work
For the second time since this yard was opened expansion work is underway. All rails laid in 2000 were on wood ties. This set of tracks will be on steel ties.
