Alabama East End District 9,000Ft Plus Bare Table Move And More

Combined several trips into this one report for the month of May.

NS 299 with CP 8734 NS 9431 heads west on the Birmingham East End main line just east of Bremen Georgia. The lead unit ES44AC was the only power operating on this 9,000ft plus move as the second unit was off line. The crew wanted to stop somewhere and get it started but the word was keep moving!!!


NS 27A (BRUNSWICK GA VANCE ALA MT Auto Rack) on the Temple siding rolls west as the track alignment / surface gang holds the mainline at CP Temple.


NS 290-6 (MCCALLA, AL - CROXTON, NJ) east bound off the main line into the siding at Bremen Georgia


NS 290-17 (MCCALLA, AL - CROXTON, NJ) east bound on the main line at Temple as NS 739 (GP Scherer –PRB) holds the siding.


NS 739 (GP Scherer –PRB) AMTK 19 (Washington DC – New Orleans) west bound on the main line just east of Bremen Georgia. Second unit on the Crescent is the AMTK 189 "Big Game Train"


NS 220 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) east bound on the main line as NS 739 (GP Scherer –PRB) holds the siding a Bremen.


NS 220 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) east bound at CP Villa Rica with a pair of KCS Southern Belle units


NS 23D (ATLANTA, GA - SHREVEPORT, LA (UP) west bound at Villa Rica Georgia


NS A25 (Bremen - Austell Local) light engine east bound on the siding passes PRB coal drag NS 733 holding the main at Villa Rica Georgia


NS 26A (VANCE ALA - BRUNSWICK GA Loaded Auto Rack) rolls over the "C-Line" at the Diamond CP North Bremen.


NS 172 (NEW ORLEANS, LA (UP QLINSL) - LINWOOD, NC) east bound with BNSF 725 leading on the main line just passed CP Temple as track inspection high-railer holds the siding.


NS I-25  (ATLANTA, GA - LOS ANGELES, CA (UP ZAILC) with CP 9804 heading west on the main line east Villa Rica Georgia.


NS 169  (CONWAY PA. - BIRMINGHAM AL) on a day light run west bound just east of Bremen. Second day time run since this new train started running in the last few weeks. Has been an early am west bound train out of Atlanta.


NS A25 (Bremen - Austell Local) with a pair of SD40-2's making return trip east through down town after setting out MT tank cars at the Bremen storage tracks.
