About 5 miles north of the Carrollton Georgia depot at MP C-316.3 at the Smyrna Church Road crossing just west of US 27, sits a fairly good size lake. "Frog Lake" it is called. And about 10ft from the west rail sits a good size bronze FROG on a flat rock with a sign. Well this one has been in my bucket for a while and with this hobby we all know what is Key.  You need two things: A train and the sun. With the reduction in coal drags heading south on the C-Line (North Georgia District) the chances are for sure less then say, 3 years ago! Around 12:45 I heard the North Atlanta dispatcher indicate there was a 600 train at Fox MP 78.1H.on the main line heading south. Checked with my sources and found out the Cedartown crew was called for 1:30pm. Ok some calculating here. North Bremen by 2:30/2:45pm. Depending on East End traffic could be by Frog Lake around 3:30pm.

Arriving at North Bremen around 2:50 and waiting on an east (290) & west bounder (23D) 600 received a clear signal to head south thru Bremen over the diamond around 3:10. After a few shots of the east / west bound trains in Bremen I headed south to Frog Lake.

NS600 (Gallatin Mine IL - GP Wansley) with leading units NS 8129 & 8812 by the "FROG" at MP C-316.3

This train had three units in DPU all NS as they roll past the "FROG" at MP C-316.3

Taking into account and including things in your photos is something I learned from Mr.Starnes several years ago!
