After a few updates from Hunter33, I managed to get out of school in time to see the Southern 8099 lead NS 52X south. After sitting on the Danville Bypass bridge for over an hour, NS 52X finally departed South Danville. I got the two main shots I wanted, and after watching him fly by at Bowen I decided to end my small chase right there. I'm starting to be satisfied with the Southern but I still would like it at a few key locations. Any who, here are the few pics I was able to get today.

As always, you can follow my Flickr here > http://www.flickr.com/photos/46459752@N08/

I don't see any new signals around? NS 52X flies under the southbound searchlights at Bowen

I absolutely love these shots! Hopefully after coming back north, it'll make a North Georgia train to hit the other Southern mainline. It's got the cars for it.

Great, pix.  And I love the 3-way meet at Bowen.   :)

Awesome photos! Please send this unit up north again on maybe a 212 or 16T, I still need to see this one.

I think it needs to run on the SOU mainline for the first time before it gets back up north..

I can't argue too much with that!

Whenever you guys do get done with it, would y'all send it my way?
