Well, two of my favorite hobbies combined last Saturday evening when Emmett texted me to let me know 142 with the Penn Central Heritage Unit was stuck at Greendale.  With a little light left and dark cloud cover approaching, I had to get out to salvage something at the old Georgetown Depot Site.  Only thing was - I had my bass boat hitched to my Tahoe.  With no time to unhitch and make it trackside, I just found the ultimate railfan vehicle.  The front deck made an absolute perfect platform to shoot from! I can't imagine what the crew thought seeing this!  Yeah... the railfans have finally lost it!  I thought it was fairly appropriate to be shooting the Heritage Worms from a fishing boat.

Good times .... looks like the PC unit provided the "worms"

Always fun to combine hobbies like this. Some if my favorite trout holes are within sight of the Reading line.

Another fun hobby to combine with train watching is shooting. Here's my pop at the Fleetwood fish and game association range taking a break from plinking with his 22 to watch an eastbound knock down the 14.2 signal on the Reading line.

Good little story Chad, and not something you see every day.

I take it, by looking at your boat trailer, and seat and trim, that you must do a lot of fishing down in TN?   ;D
