After hearing no reports of PC 1073 leaving Cincinnati, I took off from home in search of 143. On the ATCS Monitor, there were only 2 southbounds between Bishop and Danville, so I decided to chase after the Southbound that left the yard, not knowing what was on the head end. After passing it at Junction City, I pulled off in between Junction and Bowen just to see what the leader was. Lo and behold, it in fact was the PC leading 143. NS 902 was meeting 143 at Bowen, so i had just enough time to race over to Moreland and set up my shot.

143 was a pretty good sized southbound. After waiting at the crossing, I headed down to South Fork in hopes of catching him going across the Green River Bridge. After catching up with the tail end just crossing the switch at Palm. 143 would stop at Geneva and wait for 2 northbounds. After getting a diverging signal, I headed to South Fork bridge. But a quick glance over my shoulder quickly changed that.
The Loram Railgrinder was sitting at the signal in South Fork waiting for clearance. For the 2nd time in 3 days, I got these two meeting side by side. This time with a little better result.

I rather be lucky than good anyday! Thanks for looking!
