April fools?  CSX doesn't have a locomotive 1815 on its active roster.  Cool picture though.

Yeah, I detect an April Fool's joke, too.  8)
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice this and figure it out, that's why I kept quiet. I would make for a nice looking unit if it was black and white.

Not 100% sure... but, I do not remember CSX having ANY high hoods. Also, I am not sure... but, was any SD50/60 made with a high hood? Dan

Yup this was made in the confines of the Photoshop locomotive works lol.

Kudos on a good Photoshop High Hood job, its not easy to do and make look right...I have tried!

I have often wondered just how cool a SD70Ace would look with a old school high nose on it, instead of a safety cab :)

I have not figured how to do that yet. I'd imagine to do that you would have to find someway to paste a highhood cab on it over the original. I've tried and failed at putting a UP dash-8 cab on a NS SD60. I'm sure stuff like that is do-able one just had to acquire the skills.
