It seems I take so many photos I forget about hundreds of them and never get around to sharing anything. I processed a few tonight and added some others I had posted on other sites and had forgot to post here.

I also need to thank those people that text me heads up alerts. I don't know if people want their names in text or not but I sure appreciate the advanced warnings you guys give me and the info that is posted on jreb.

Sorry I do not know the symbols for most of these trains.

First up is the NS 5439 trailing on T19 being towed in downtown Louisville by NS 9144.

After T19 came through this intermodal came in. Might be 224?

Before and after shots when they drop off a section at Whitner (GE Appliance Park Yard).

This guy tore my right ear up holding in the horn extra long at both crossings. It seemed to me it was rear facing because it seemed 10 times louder as the unit went by then when it was approaching. Gotta remember to pack ear plugs.

Photos #1 & 2 are a meet between 168 and probably a 375? A few days ago just as the last bit of daylight fades from the sky.

Photo #3 is a work train from 5-31-2012 that came through as I was waiting for the CofG that never showed up in daylight.

I think this is all from the last few times I've been out sitting next to the tracks.

Your first Two pics with the SD50 is train 168. They swapped that old motor out with 168 at the mixing center that evening.

Great shots, Ed. Please share more shots if you have them!
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.
