NS 67D Ethanol Train w/ EMDX 2012 Leader in Roanoke today

Last night I followed the progress of EMDX 2012 closely as it came south from Alexandria, VA to Roanoke enroute to points west on the point of an empty 67D ethanol train. Made good time coing down the Southern and he got close to Roanoke at 5am. I was worried they would swap crews and continue on before light, but some intermodal train interference and the need to fuel the units helped out a bunch. Snagged a few shots down at the old Piggyback Ramp with the help of an external strobe and a good friend :)

Here are a few shots. Several are similar but figured I would go ahead and post the different angles given the beautiful Sunrise!

Wow!!! The sunrise really lights up those pics. Nice catch on the demonstrators(?), too!
