My father and I made a little trip up to Columbus, Ohio this past weekend. We thought that we were also going to be able to hit CSX Northern Subdivision. However, the amount of or lack thereof traffic wise made us change our minds real fast. Spent a half an hour along the single main at Chillicothe and was rewarded with two eastbounds. First up is the 234 passing under the East Main Street overpass. This time, the 234 was being led by a veteran Dash 9 "Spartan Cab" that had the newer M-2 and a Dash 9 Widecab in tow behind it.

A couple of minutes later............

Train 218 shows up with the 9932 and a sister Dash 9 showing the way. This train was bound for a crew change at Portsmouth, Ohio and eventually on to Charlotte, North Carolina.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
