With Central KY getting another conveniently timed snow storm on Thursday and Friday, Conditions where right this morning for a little cold weather shooting. EB and myself headed out early into the frigid morning to see what what we could find on the Louisville district. By our standards, it was a short day, but we caught several trains in the time we where out.

The whole set of 9 keepers are at this link  http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/gallery/ns2011carm

Our first train of the day was the Eastbound 111, which was rolling by the house when we headed out. We caught up with him at Talmage, after he met 22A and 239.

111 again in Downtown Harrodsburg..that little black speck on the right is Emmett making a dash to the car after getting his shot..it had warmed up to a balmy 5 degrees at this point!

We started back West after leaving Harrodsburg, and caught 376 just outside of Lawrenceburg, at Alton Station Kentucky. This was a new location for me.

Our last shot of the day was a very late 60A steel train, crossing Pope Lick Creek near Fisherville. Check out the link to Pbase for everything else we saw!
